The Teacher Time team was formed during the Sydney Startup Weekend in July 2011.
Jesse Black
Jesse is a primary school teacher in Sydney, Australia. He founded www.teachertime.com.au at Sydney Start-up Weekend in August of 2011.
He was born in Boston, Massachusetts USA and graduated from Pepperdine University in Malibu, California in 2004 with a degree in Education.
He has lived and worked as a teacher in three counties and is currently pursuing his passion to improve the quality of education for teachers worldwide.

Michael Kubler
Michael (K-Dog) is the primary back end coder. He spends his time programming the web platform, running the servers and most of the advanced technical things. He is highly motivated by problem solving and enjoys gaining and sharing knowledge, hence his attraction to Teachertime.
He grew up around computers and has been working in the IT industry for 8+ years, giving him a natural ability to understand computers.
He is a photographer, web developer (especially PHP, jQuery, CSS and HTML), and occasional film maker who previously ran Grey Phoenix Productions and now runs Films on the Fly.
After leaving University he started working at Internode the Australian ISP, taught himself PHP in his spare time and had already been running LAMP servers (Linux Apache, MySQL and PHP).
Michael Imstepf
Michael has passion for Web startups and is currently undertaking a postgraduate research at The University of Sydney to study how successful entrepreneurs plan and how this contrasts to the traditional business planning frameworks that universities, governments and many others promote.
Michael’s background is in business, strategy and consulting and he is also passionate about graphic design, user experience design, front-end development (HTML5, CSS, jQuery, JavaScript), back-end development (PHP / Ruby on Rails), SEO and online marketing. As a freelancer he and his subcontractors have had the pleasure to be involved in many interesting projects, including a a social networking platform for the Swiss Army, an information platform for the Judicial Conference of Australia and various types of work for Spreets / Yahoo7.

Ehon Chan
Ehon Chan has been known as a social entrepreneur, innovator, “digital branding professional” (news.com.au) and one of the “world’s most inspiring young achiever and innovator under 30” (Sandbox Network).
He has passion for entrepreneurial and innovative approaches to social change that is both equitable and sustainable. His work has focused on harnessing the social impact of digital technology and new media for the greater good.
Ehon co-founded News Unlimited and Youth Entrepreneurship and Social Innovation Brisbane. He is the creator of men’s mental health campaign, Soften the Fck Up, and is currently Founder and Executive Director of Spur Projects, a startup in its incubation stage. Ehon also has extensive experience working with the government, corporate and social sector as a consultant, educator, and advisor. He currently serves as a Board member for Bendigo and Adelaide Bank’s PlanBig, and Opti-MINDS Inc.
David Truong
David Truong is a trained lawyer and computer scientist, and works in the Teachertime business development team. Previously he founded a vocational training company, Australian Entertainment Training, which provided services to schools, government and individual students. He has also worked with schools to incorporate technology into the teaching culture, been the CFO of a marketing and hospitality company and worked at a commercial law firm.
He currently works full time on Teachertime and his own startup, REdu.

Silvio Brasil
Silvio is a Software Engineer who was born in São Paulo, Brazil, with almost 20 years of professional IT career experience. He has been studying computer languages and OS development since he was 10 years old. He has received his TAFE diploma of Project Management as well as many other relevant IT certifications.
As an IT professional he possess a wide variety of skills. Formerly he was working for Software House developing interfaces for a POS system (.dll vc++ 16/32 bits).
By 1999 Silvio had worked for 8 years in Brazil implementing applications for their three largest banks. Development included web office bank services and SPB (Brazilian Payment System) back-end services. He is currently working at Topcon Positioning System implementing solutions for CivilCad / SurveyMaster products.
Silvio moved to Australia and currently lives in Sydney.
